
So last night I got all of this done

Yes, that’s right, I cut out four squares of black fabric and pinned them to my dressform. Man that was a lot of work.
Actually I spent most of the evening researching the costume and gathering up my references into one folder, and then I went and cut out the fabric for it. I had a dress already shaped very similar, so I used it as a cutting guide.
I’ve got to draw up my embroidery plans tonight/tomorrow. Take stock of what embroidery floss and beads I have that might work, get what I need this weekend and get rolling on it.
